I joined the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, in June 2000 and presently I am an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. I received a Masters in Mobile & Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey, UK and another Masters degree from the Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering, Islamabad, in Computer Engineering. I completed my Doctoral thesis sponsored by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan in collaboration with the Austrian Exchange service (OeAD) Austria at the Institute of Telecommunications, Vienna University of Technology, in 2012. My main research interests are in the 5G New Radio and applications of Artificial Intelligence for future 5G mobile networks.
