Francisco Paisana received the master’s degree in electrical engineering and computers from the Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in wireless communications from Trinity College Dublin in 2016. He is currently a Software Radio Engineer with Software Radio Systems. His research interests include software-defined radio, spectrum sharing, machine learning, and signal processing. He was the team lead from TCD that won the DySPAN spectrum challenge in 2017.
