I am an Assistant Professor at IST since Sept 2016. I completed my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, in 2016, as a Fulbright scholar. My focus during PhD was to analyze the dynamics of resting-state functional connectivity. I used algorithms and methods from various domains such as signal processing, machine learning, information theory, and pattern recognition to study functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data during my PhD. I did my Postdoc in ‘Computational Connectomics’ from Baycrest Health Sciences, Canada in 2019 after securing Schlumberger Faculty for the Future Fellowship award. Here I worked on understanding the relationship between brain and behavior using EEG data. Currently, I am collaborating with different hospitals to design and develop low-cost systems involving EEG and EMG signals for rehabilitation and diagnostics.
