Dr Anjum Tauqir did his masters in metallurgical engineering from Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys and PhD from University of Connecticut. He has more than 30 years of experience in energy beams-materials interaction, development of hi-purity aerospace alloys and failure analysis. He has his credit more than 80 publications in reputed journals, international conferences and two patents registered in UK. He has established multi-billion semi industrial hi-tech projects in the field of metallurgy-taking them from planning to production. Presently he is professor at Materials Science and Engineering Department, Institute of Materials Science, Islamabad and as Advisor in NCFA.

Advisor
Dr Syed Wilayat Husain did his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Dawood College, Karachi. He got his MS and PhD in Metallurgy from the University of Connecticut, USA. He has more than 30 years of experience in Alloy Development, Materials Characterization and Failure Analysis.  He has 50 plus international publications to his credit and has remained associated with projects of national importance. Presently he is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at IST. He is currently also employed as Advisor in NCFA.

Project Lead
Engr Obaid Ur Rauf did his Bachelors and Masters degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad and has specialized in Metals & Alloys. His research interests includes Failure Analysis of Aerospace Materials and Advanced Composite Materials, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Non-Destructive Testing and On-site/ Replica Metallography. Currently he is working as Project Lead in NCFA.

Project Lead
Engr Waseem Arshad got his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from SMME NUST and Bachelors in Materials Engineering from SCME NUST. He has been involved in various industrial projects. His key areas of interest are Root Cause Failure Analysis, Remaining Life Assessment (as per API 579), In-situ/ Replica Metallography, Metal and Alloys, Manufacturing, Non-destructive Testing, Engine Tribology and Reverse Engineering. Currently he is working as Project Lead in NCFA.
