Dr. Muhammad Umer, presently working as Assistant Professor and Head Mechanical & Design Analysis (MDA) Research Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IST, Islamabad. He has been working in the field of Nonlinear Vibration Dynamics of the Turbomachinery for the past 8 years. He has worked on several R&D projects at international level in collaboration with General Electric (GE) Italy and developed a novel state of the art Test Rig for turbine blades vibration mitigation.
