Mr. Muhammad Arshad holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communication Engineering. He is currently serving as the Manager, Innovation and Commercialization at the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), Institute of Space Technology (IST).
In his role, Mr. Arshad actively fosters partnerships with industry to enhance the university’s commercialization and collaboration initiatives. As a Certified Patent Agent with IPO Pakistan, he leads IST's Intellectual Property (IP) Desk, overseeing the management and protection of the university's intellectual assets.
Additionally, he serves as the Focal Person for the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) at IST, providing IP-related services, training, and consultancy. His efforts extend beyond supporting IST’s students and faculty to delivering tailored solutions for external individuals and organizations.
