The department is in the process of expansion and preparing to shift to a much spacious premises with new, appropriately equipped laboratories and capacious lecture halls. The capacity enhancement is timely tuned with CPEC - the pacesetter of engineering activities in our part of the World. Projected increase in air travel in the coming years in Middle Eastern as well as Far Eastern routes is expected to boost the job opportunities of Materials’ Engineers who are well-versed in advanced aerospace materials. We, at the Department of Materials’ Science & Engineering continue to tailor our courses and course contents according to the expectations of the market and the evolution of technology.
