First National CanSat Competition of Pakistan concluded at Institute of Space Technology on 27 April 2024 under the patronage of Space Education Research lab of National Center of GIS and Space Applications.

25 Teams from 10 Universities of Pakistan participated in the three month long event including various interactive learning sessions, boot camp and workshops. Teams were evaluated on the basis of functional CanSat , PDR, CDR, FDR, Research Paper, Research Poster and final launch by the quadcopter.

The Champion award of 100,000 PKR was shared by Quaid-e-Azam University and College of Aeronautical Engineering Risalpur while the runner up award of 50,000 PKR was shared by Institute of Space Technology and University Of Central Punjab.
