Workshop on : Commercialization of Innovative Technologies for National Development

Commercialization of dual use innovative technologies may lead to accelerated socio-economic development through optimal human and capital resource mobilization. This depends on upgrading human mindset for development of value added products according to market driven requirements through NASA Technology Readiness Levels (TRL). NASA has already established a viable commercialization program to market these lab scale prototypes to private industry i.e. Lockheed, Northrop and Boeing etc. according to NASA technology ranking level. This workshop can be a useful tool and a good starting point for the Universities and R&D organizations to launch their technology based commercial ventures. Furthermore, the intended workshop will also help out the scientists and engineers to can commercialize these inventions through an effective business planning process.

Lead Trainer:  Mr. Azhar Rizvi, Founding Vice Chairman MIT enterprise Forum of Pakistan and CEO, Cambridge Advisors Network will be conducting the two day workshop. He has conducted trainings, mentoring, coaching for more than 450 ICT Firms, 10000+ students and over 1000 faculty members, including Ph.D, Post Doc.  from 50 universities on entrepreneurship, business plan writing, innovation and commercialization.
