Workshop on Principles of Project Management

The National Center of GIS and Space Applications (NCGSA) is organizing a Workshop on Principles of Project Management at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad from December 27 - 30, 2022. The workshop will focus on the concepts of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide – 6th Edition). Participants will gain firsthand experience, applying project management techniques that will yield better project charter development, planning process, effective communication, realistic milestones scheduling, focused team building, methods of monitoring, evaluation & control as well as effective closure. The four-day interactive training activity will consist of lectures and hands-on exercises from the subject matter experts.

The workshop will especially feature the comparative discussion on existing public sector project management practices and the framework laid down by Project Management Institute in the context of project management knowledge areas.

The workshop is designed for professionals (Team Leaders, Project Managers & Project Directors) associated with private or public projects, as well as the academicians and students.
