2-days workshop on Destructive & Non-destructive Testing of Materials

Will impart knowledge on diversified use of a state of the art destructive (DT) and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques
  • Lectures on different DT and NDT techniques, discussing technical integrities
  • Practical demonstration on different equipment’s involved in DT and NDT.
  • Preparation of sample, necessary pre-processing before inspection.
  • Quality Assurance of tested samples

Registration Fee

Workshop may accommodate a limited number and registration will be first-come-first basis. Group registration is welcomed. Registration (on CASH) fee includes cost of Workshop material, Lunch, Tea, light refreshment and certificates.

Trainers

Trainers with extensive experience including the following:

Dr. Abdul Wadood received his Ph.D. degree from Japan in 2012 with two years postdoctoral work from Japan. He has about eighteen years’ experience of using different destructive and NDT techniques.  He also has research experience of corrosion and materials protection, biomaterials, titanium alloys; shape memory alloys, high temperature materials. He has received 10.5 million research grants from HEC. Recently he has published a book on ‘Titanium and Titanium Alloys’ under HEC Book Writing Scheme He is the author of more than 20 Journal papers, one patent and five conference papers.

Dr. Muhammad Atiq Ur Rehman received his PhD from Germany in 2018. He has the industrial experience, working as an engineer in the Millat Tractors Limited Lahore. He has the experience of NDT of transmission components of automobiles. He has lot of research publications especially testing and characterization of engineering and biomaterials. His area of expertise includes NDT, materials characterization, biomaterials, high temperature materials and testing of automobile especially tractor components

Engr. Mahmood khan is doing PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from IST, Pakistan. He is Principal Engineer at National Centre for Non-Destructive Testing, Pakistan. He is level-2 certification in eddy current testing. He has lot of industrial experience on inspection and testing of various engineering components. His area of Expertise includes NDT, materials characterization, composite processing and mechanical testing.

Engr. Faisal Mustafa received his MS in Materials Science & Engineering from IST, Pakistan. He is a faculty member at IST and also working as consultant for Inspection and Testing of Materials Lab. He is level 2 certified in welding inspection. He has done lot of professional certification related to Welding Inspection, Safety and Environment. His area of expertise includes Inspection & Testing of Materials, Welding & Joining of Materials, Composites, Health, Safety, Environment and Entrepreneurship.Trainers with extensive experience including the following:
