Course Objectives
This course will develop a broad understanding of Remote Sensing, GIS technologies and its application is in the process of Urban Planning. This swill also expands the limits of existing Urban & Regional Planning in pursuing the viable forms of Urban Agglomeration for new generations.
The course participants will be educated about recent ideas, movements’ trends and issues shaping the contemporary planning practices to examine the institutional & governmental planning, Development Plans, and Management issues. The use of modern geospatial technologies in these disciplines will be also highlighted through practical case study.
Emphasis of course is to coordinate a diverse group of students, professionals and practitioners from planning organizations to promote a healthy and sharing environment of knowledge and viewpoints.
