Department of Humanities and Sciences conducted breast cancer awareness session on Wednesday October 18, 2023. The aim of this event was to shed light on the causes, symptoms, self-examination process, and treatment options available for breast cancer, along with importance of healthy diet in preventing cancer. Ms. Imbisat Fatima Alvi, Assistant professor at Health Services Academy, Ministry of Health, Pakistan talked about causes, symptoms and treatment for breast cancer followed by a question-answer session. Ms. Anisa Sohail, Nutritionist and lecturer at the Center of Advanced Health Studies in Health and Technology, talked about healthy diet and its role in the fight against breast cancer.

Dr Ausima Sultan Malik, HoD H&S, presented souvenirs to the guests at the end of the event.
